How are my transfers packaged for delivery?

We take care to package your transfers securely so they arrive in perfect condition. Depending on the size of your order, we use either flat packaging or tubes/boxes:

  • Small sheets or small quantities: These are usually packed flat in a sturdy envelope or a rigid mailer. We sandwich the DTF sheets between chipboard or cardboard to prevent bending. We also keep them in a plastic sleeve to guard against any moisture during transit.
  • Larger gang sheets (rolled): If you ordered large format sheets or a long roll, we will typically roll them and ship in a mailing tube or a durable box. The roll method avoids creases on oversized prints. The transfers will be inside a poly sleeve, rolled, and the tube sealed.
  • Protection: Every order comes with a sheet of parchment/baking paper (or sometimes a Teflon sheet for larger orders) and an instruction sheet for pressing. The parchment is provided free so you have something to use for the final press or to protect your heat press. The instructions recap the pressing process so you don’t have to dig up info when you’re ready to apply.
  • Labeling: We label the package clearly and include your packing slip. The transfers themselves may have a small label or marking to indicate which side is the adhesive side if it’s not obvious (usually the printed side is easy to tell, but we ensure you know which side goes down).
  • Discrete and climate-considered: We seal everything to keep out rain or humidity. DTF powders can absorb moisture, so the sealed plastic is important especially if the weather is wet. In summer, we try to minimize time in hot conditions by dispatching quickly – AusPost usually keeps parcels in environment-controlled facilities, but the quicker it gets to you, the better.

So, expect your transfers to arrive either flat and well-protected or safely rolled, with application instructions and a slip sheet included, making for a seamless experience from receiving the package to pressing your items.
